Our next open rehearsals are Monday, August 31, and Sept. 14 & 21, 2026. Please join us if you are interested in finding out more about GMC. Meet members and leadership, and enjoy snacks! In general, we rehearse every Monday evening from 7 to 10pm at Second Presbyterian Church located at 4501 Westminster Place, St. Louis, MO 63108.
Whether you sing professionally or just in the shower, or you haven't sung in years, GMC is open to everyone 18 years and older who can comfortably sing in the tenor/bass vocal range. Regardless of your background, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, ethnicity or musical background/experience level, you are WELCOME HERE!
Gateway Men's Chorus performs three mainstage themed concerts each year and participates in many community outreach projects including those in partnership with our sibling choruses across Metropolitan St. Louis.
Membership dues are $100 for individual rehearsal cycles or $250.00 for the entire year (**A discount of $50 for the season!)
Scholarships are available. It is our goal that every singer is able to join this incredible group. We believe that your personal economic situation should never prevent you from singing.

Become a Volunteer!
Maybe singing isn't your thing, but you still want to be involved. No problem! Gateway Men's Chorus has many available volunteer opportunities.
Throughout the year, GMC stages three major concert series -- in December, March and June. But the show isn't simply comprised of the singers on stage. Stage managers, lighting technicians, front-of-house staff, set designers, and projection artists all play a major role. We have plenty of opportunities to utilize your talents!
In addition to our concerts, we host many fundraising and community events. GMC seeks volunteers to help set up the events, staff our registration and raffle tables, and act as hosts to our distinguished guests!
Finally, we have space on all of our committees. Driven by our Board of Directors, our Fundraising & Events, Production, Communications & Marketing, Finance, and Membership committees help determine the direction and growth of the Chorus!
