Gateway Men's Chorus is St. Louis's longest tenured LGBTQIA+ arts organization, now celebrating our 32nd Season.
Uniting a group of singers from different backgrounds and different walks of life, GMC provides a much-needed outlet for those individuals who wish to exemplify the positive qualities of the LGBTQIA+ experience in a manner that promotes equality and understanding through musical performance and education.
Our next rehearsal cycle begins on Monday September 10th. Click the survey below to receive additional information on voice placements and meet-n-greets.
Rehearsals are held at The Centene Center for the Arts, located at 3547 Olive Street. Rehearsals run from 7:00pm - 10pm on Mondays.
All interested singers are assessed for vocal placement and musical aptitude. It helps us to better learn your voice, its capabilities, and how we can best help you during your time with Gateway Men's Chorus. It also helps us to know where your voice fits in to the larger picture of the chorus as one voice.
All singers are welcome whether you sing professionally, you sing in the shower, or you haven't sung in years. GMC has a space for every voice.
We are a dues-paying group open to anyone ages 18 & over who sings in the Tenor-Bass vocal range, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, financial status, or musical background. Scholarships are available to anyone who feels that cost is an impediment to joining the chorus.
