Gateway Men's Chorus turns the spotlight on the socio-political events and issues impacting disenfranchised communities and minorities through the United States, and more importantly, here in Saint Louis. Diving into hot bed topics such as drug abuse and dependency, transgender rights, HIV/AIDS, and violence in law enforcement, GMC presents a harrowing look at the state of our communities and the challenges we need to face to move ourselves and our world forward. Featuring the Saint Louis debut of Joel Thompson's "Seven Last Words of the Unarmed" and a special commission by composer and singer Mari Esabel Valverde, this concert is a must-see event that will have Saint Louis talking for years to come.
